I really enjoyed reading about the adventures of building the kids a "swing set" as told by my cousin Damon earlier this summer. These playsets are more like mini Taj Mahals. Anyway, it brought back many memories of the set we put up for our kids a long, long time ago.
The swings have been empty for some time now, and I decided that it was time for some new little kids to enjoy it as much as ours did. So here it goes - off to a new home with some happy campers waiting for it to arrive. Have fun Peyton and Ethan!
Sporting a new paint job - here goes the tower, slide and fireman's pole portion up the road. It just came up a GIANT hill and the car following it is driven by Jake. Yes, he followed right behind in my NEW CAR ! Hello, what if the thing slid off the truck while climbing up?
The A-Frame that holds the swings and glider was really tricky! We couldn't get it apart, so we tossed it upside down on the truck. What a sight this was going across town. Please take note of which car is AGAIN a little too close for my comfort.
Jake and a group of his friends really pitched in to get this task accomplished. Funny to watch the guys who once played here moving it across town and placing it in a new location.

Jake and JJ swingin' in 1996. Good Times.
