Remember the Florida fiasco????
Well my bad luck streak keeps going, and going, and going, ...just like the energizer bunny !
This is the backwash pipe for the swimming pool ...and yes, that is a big crack. Thank you Wisconsin winter! In addition to this ....there was a small leak in the plumbing to the pool heater.
The good news is that the leak was small enough that I could keep the pump running and the chemicals flowing into the pool. Otherwise, I would have an algae filled "cement pond" in the backyard right now.
I don't know the damage cost yet as the pool company is coming tomorrow to do the repairs.
A big strong wind blew one afternoon....and the whole fence fell over! I had gotten a price of 4 or 5 thousand dollars to replace the fence a few years ago. Luckily, Steph has an employee who is very handy with stuff like this. Randy replaced all the rotten posts, salvaged all of the good wood, and rebuilt the fence for a price of $850.00.
(The crazy netting was to keep the ducks and birds from landing on the patio and in the pool)
Yeah, my new car!
Bad news....$500 deductable for insurance.
Good news....the insurance company is going after the lady who hit me for 100% liability. Hope I can get some money back.
Okay...the "good luck" can kick in at any time now!
