No Tickets - Please!

First day that the high school is checking parking permits - "guess who" gets a ticket...

Yep, you guessed right! Good ole' Jake. A $10 violation for parking in an incorrect stall.
Okay, so I paid $140.00 for the parking permit on registration day. He was told to park in the Staff parking lot because he is on the FSO (flexible schedule option) program. They failed to mention that he has to park in the stalls marked "S". Apparently a reminder was announced in the morning, but FSO students are not in school when the announcements are given. They arrive late. So how was he supposed to know about this?
This was my argument when I very nicely approached the parking attendant. I also indicated that it was the first day of cheking the lots - how about some kind of warning??
I now know why the students refer to this woman as the "Parking Nazi" - she gets a zero in the personality department. Despite this, I did talk her into revoking the ticket.
Hey, ten dollars is ten dollars!
